1. Registration request
A search result or quote does not reserve a domain. Availability is checked again before checkout and by the registrar during processing. Registration is completed only after confirmed payment and successful acceptance by Hostinger and the relevant registry.
2. Registrant data
You confirm that the profile and billing details supplied for the registrant are accurate, current and belong to the lawful registrant. Some extensions require additional information or evidence. Incorrect or incomplete data can cause rejection, suspension, loss or transfer restrictions.
3. Price, taxes and payment
The checkout price covers the registration period shown and includes the applicable platform markup and tax treatment. Provider and renewal prices can differ from the initial price and may change before renewal. Payment authorization alone does not guarantee successful registration.
4. Failure and refund handling
If payment succeeds but registration fails, the order is placed in a recoverable or manual-review state. We will retry when safe and investigate before any new purchase attempt. If registration cannot be completed, the applicable refund or credit process will be used. Once a registry has successfully registered the domain, cancellation or refund may be impossible.
5. DNS and connection
For a platform-purchased domain, you authorize automatic creation or replacement of the DNS records required to connect the domain and optional www hostname to your project. DNS propagation and certificate issuance depend on third parties and may take time.
6. Renewal, expiry and transfer
The registration period and current renewal information should be displayed in the portal or communicated before expiry. Do not assume renewal is complete until it is confirmed. Registry grace, redemption, transfer-lock and contact-verification rules may apply. You are responsible for keeping contact and payment information current and responding to verification notices.
7. Names, rights and disputes
You must not register a name that infringes trademarks, personal rights or applicable law. Registry and dispute-resolution policies apply and can result in suspension, cancellation or transfer independent of the platform.
